Welcome to the STEM Birds Australian Scratch Coding Competition 2025, an exciting online competition designed to inspire young minds in coding, creativity, and problem-solving! Whether you’re a beginner or an advanced coder, this is your chance to showcase your skills and win amazing prizes!

Who Can Participate?

Children aged 7 to 15 years old can enter, competing in one of three age categories:

Beginner (7-9 years): Storytelling and animation projects
Intermediate (10-12 years): Fun and educational games
Advanced (13-15 years): AI-driven projects and simulations

How to Participate? (For Parents & Guardians):

Follow these simple steps to register and submit your child’s project:

Step 1: Create a Scratch Account

🔗 If your child doesn’t have a Scratch account, sign up for a free one at scratch.mit.edu.
🔒 Online Safety Tip: Ensure your child does not use their real name or share personal details on Scratch.

Step 2: Develop & Test the Project

🎯 Choose a theme for your child’s category.
🖥️ Ask your child to create the project in Scratch!
✅ Review and test it to make sure it works properly.

📢 IMPORTANT: Once the project is finalized, click “Share” on Scratch to make it publicly accessible.

Step 3: Submit the Entry before April 20, 2025

📩 Fill out the STEM Birds Australian Scratch Coding Competition Entry Form and include:

Your child’s Scratch project link
Payment confirmation of the $35 entry fee in the form.
